Police/Emergency Rate Schedule

Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, excluding holidays. Storage facility hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, excluding holidays. Emergency is defined as any response with less than 24 hours notice. After hours calls are subject to time and one half of rate. These Rates are effective August 31, 2024 (Rates subject to change without notice).

Breakdowns/Traffic Stops/Illegally Parked Vehicles

These rates apply to ordinary circumstances. Additional charges may be incurred for extraordinary circumstances, i.e location of vehicle, weather, etc, which are at the discretion of Eagle Service Center, Inc. 1st calendar day no storage.

Light Duty (up to 7,000 lbs GVWR)

  • Wrecker/Flatbed – $250/hour
  • Extra Person – $175/hour/person
  • Storage – $75/day

Medium Duty (up to 17,000 lbs GVWR)

All medium duty traffic stops will be billed at a two hour minimum.
Medium duty impounds will be charged a $150.00 administrative fee.

  • Wrecker/Flatbed – $500/hour
  • Extra Person – $175/hour/person
  • Storage – $150/day

Heavy Duty (17,001+ lbs GVWR)

Subcontracted (Cost +25%)

Accident/Recovery Rates

These rates apply to ordinary circumstances. Additional charges may be incurred for extraordinary circumstances, i.e location of vehicle, weather, etc, which are at the discretion of Eagle Service Center, Inc. 2 hour minimum.

A scene safety fee of  $125.00 will be charges on all accident/recovery invoices to cover the costs associated with HAAS alert advanced warning systems installed in our equipment.

All EV and Hybrid vehicle services will be billed at 1.5 times normal rate and will have a recovery supervisor assigned to the incident.

Light Duty (up to 7,000 lbs GVWR)

Two hour minimum on all hourly services

  • On scene supervisor – $250/hour
  • Wrecker/Flatbed (Includes Operator) – $350/hour
  • Extra Person – $175/hour/person
  • Winching – $350.00 additional
  • Up righting vehicle – $350.00 additional
  • Clean up (vehicle parts, no fluids) – $175.00
  • Administrative fee 10% of the recovery invoice, $250.00 minimum

Medium Duty (up to 17,000 lbs GVWR)

Two hour minimum on all hourly services

  • On scene supervisor – $250/hour
  • Wrecker/Flatbed (includes operator) – $700/hour
  • Extra Person – $175/hour/person
  • Clean up (vehicle parts, no fluids) – $350.00
  • Administrative fee 10% of the recovery invoice, $450.00 minimum

Heavy Duty (17,001+ lbs GVWR)

  • Light Duty Storage – $75/calendar day (up to 7,000 gvw)
  • Medium Duty Storage – $150/calendar day (7,001 gvw +)
  • Indoor Storage – add $25/day to above rates
  • After Hours Gate Fee – $250.00
  • EV Hybrid Isolation Storage Without Containment Structure (at direction of ESA) – $225/day
  • EV Hybrid Isolation Storage With Containment Structure (at direction of ESA) – $450/day

Additional Policies

Administrative fee includes but not limited to preparing detailed narrative of the recovery performed, preparing information gathered for proper preparation of an invoice, interact with operator of the vehicle involved or owner at impound yard, escort person or persons to view vehicle and retrieve belongings, interact with insurance appraiser and escort same into storage yard, interact via telephone with insurance company representatives, faxing/emailing recovery invoices and pictures to adjusters and customers, assist in removing vehicle on pick up date.

Any damaged or contaminated equipment will be charged to the job at cost plus 25%.

After hours calls will be billed at time and one half.

A 50% surcharge will be added to towing/recovery portion bill for inclement weather. Inclement weather will be considered as follows: Heavy rain, lightening, snow, sustained winds of 20 mph or greater, heat index above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or wind chill below 35 degrees Fahrenheit.  This determination will be made based on the current weather report for the zip code in which the accident occurred from the National Weather Service.

A 50% surcharge will be added to the entire towing/recovery portion of bill if our equipment and/or operators are placed in a hazardous situation. Examples, but not limited to: downed wires, broken utility poles, bio-hazards, water recovery, etc.

Any sublet equipment/services will be charged at cost plus 25%.

Time starts when call is received and continues until the last piece equipment is available. If the operator of truck is committed to a job for a load transfer, clean-up, etc., this makes the truck committed to the job as well and will be billed at full rate.

Weight of vehicle is based upon the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) unless weight is higher than GVWR.

Lower rates may be charged at the discretion of Eagle Service Center, Inc.’s management.

If an extended hold is placed on a vehicle for any reason, a reduced storage rate will be offered after current towing, recovery, and storage charges are settled.

Storage Facility Policy

Only vehicle owner, licensed insurance appraisers or adjustors, or police officials are allowed access to storage facility.  No other persons will be allowed access to storage facility without permission from the vehicle owner. (Exceptions will be made with trucking companies; in these cases the driver will be given access with verbal permission from the trucking company.)

Items needed for a traffic stop tow to be released from storage yard:  
– Valid driver’s license
– Proof of vehicle ownership
– Vehicle registration
– Insurance

Vehicles needing towed out may only be towed out by properly insured tow trucks. Proof of workers comp insurance must be presented at time of pick-up. If insurance cannot be presented, the vehicle will not be released.

All traffic violation/police impound tows must be paid in cash, credit card, or certified funds. Not responsible for personal belongings left more than 20 days.  Vehicles left longer than 20 days will be considered abandoned and processed as such in accordance with Pennsylvania law.

Vehicles and belongings may be retrieved during normal business hours upon payment of charges and or insurance claim number. There will be a $250 gate fee for any time other than normal business hours.

Only vehicle owners or their designate are allowed into the storage yard. No one under the age of 16 will be admitted to the storage yard.

Access to storage yard requires closed toed shoes.

Vehicle parts will not be allowed to be removed from vehicles.
